This beautiful double breasted trench coat is not only fashionable but it has all the elements that you would expect from a cycle coat. The coat has been tailored to suit cycling and as such allows a lot of movement across the arms and shoulders whilst still retaining a tailored look. There are hidden reflective panels under the cuffs collar and belt which can all be easily hidden away when you want you coat to look normal.
The hood is detachable so you can take it off if you aren't a hood fan.
The Cassandra is:
Tailored in the arms and shoulders for cyclists so you can ride a racer in comfort (while not compromising on style)
Waterproof (not just showerproof)
Doesn't catch in the wheel of a bike
Hidden reflective panels on cuff, collar and belt
Cuff folds down to reveal reflective strip
Belt turns over to reveal reflective strip
Collar goes up to reveal reflective strip
The coat is made from a PU coated microfibre and is waterproof, not just showerproof.
The Fabric that the Cassandra is made from is a PU coated microfibre. This means that the coat is fully waterproof and breathable. The fabric is also quick drying so you should never need to put a soggy coat on again! It is crumple resistant and lightweight. The Cassandra weighs approx 700g - less than you would expect from a long fully lined coat.
The Cassandra is named after a friend who very kindly provided Antonia with a place to stay when she first moved to London. Having just set up Water off a Duck’s Back, without Cassandra the company might never have taken off.
